1. Select a newspaper you need.
Variety of media available today, requires you to be selective. Know your information needs, such as; general news (covering all aspects), specifically gossip or just about the lifestyle. If you already know what news you want to read, it would be easy to decide which newspaper to buy.

2. You can select news from the name of the author or columnist.
For those of you who have been accustomed to read newspapers, directly going to like some news of some writers that you consider to have a quality writing. You can start from there.

3. Read the last paragraph and be careful with the title in quotation marks.
Apparently according to Andrew, in the newspapers, the facts of a story is often placed in the last paragraph. For those of you who do not have enough time, better go straight to the last paragraph.

Andrew also advises caution with the headline in quotation marks. This means that the editor just want to raise something that is not important.

4. Read the small news, and page two.
No longer news that does not mean the news is not important. Because places are limited and different priorities of each media, the editors sometimes abbreviate the interesting news stories may be only 1-2 paragraphs.

Andrew also advised to read page two, because it is usually interesting news that should be in the face sheet 'discarded' and replaced with the news 'scene' in which if more selling.
