What are the Tips for Good Public Speaking Skills
Do you often feel nervous when speaking in front of peoples. Yeah, public speaking can be a stressor for most people. To overcome this, one thing must be done, prepare it carefully. Here are general steps in preparing:
1. Write It
Feeling nervous generally makes you less focused and forget about what you want to say. Write the key points in a piece of paper as a guide when you talk later.
2. Knowing the Material
Know the fine material that you have to say. Expand your knowledge relating to such materials. If it concerns a research, do a double check to make sure the data.
3. Identify the Target Audience
Presentation to board of directors of office is different than the presentation in front of your division mates. Control language can be anticipated if you know your target audience.
4. Set the Tone of Voice and Speech Rhythm
Make sure the people in the back row can hear you if the microphone is not available. Set the proper rhythm of speech. When a pause, when you have seen the spirit or the firm. Avoid talking in a hurry.
Note:
This expertise needs to be sharpened and it can not be mastered in a short time. So from now on, often to practice! Practice Makes Perfect!
